Owners Shawn Vollmer and Jim Nelson have a genuine passion for fine wines and beers and want to share that passion with others. This is why they opened Three Cellars in Franklin back in 2006. Shawn, Jim, and their team have come up with many innovative ways to help customers, and in the process, have gained many devoted friends and accolades.

In 2016, Gino Gaglianello decided to become a business owner and bring the Three Cellars experience to Menomonee Falls. This location (our first franchise) increased the tap lines, wines-by-the glass, and more lounge capacity which set the template for our franchise program — along with free Saturday tastings, our Liquid Therapy happy hour specials, an outdoor wine and beer garden, and all the other features that make Three Cellars the most unique wine and beer destination in the area!

In 2017, we moved the Three Cellars experience from Franklin down the road to Oak Creek. This location has 20 tap lines (one nitro beer, 18 American craft beers, and one non-alcoholic root beer) six wines-by- the glass that change weekly, eight tap wines, and much more lounge capacity — along with free Saturday tastings, Liquid Therapy happy hour specials, two large party rooms, and space to seat 300, the Oak Creek Three Cellars has quickly become one of the most visited and talked about venues in the area!

Three Cellars also introduced many products into the Milwaukee area before anyone else: Toppling Goliath, O’so, Central Waters, Captain’s Walk Winery, Furthermore, Karben4, Ahnapee, Tribute, Red Eye, Lucette, Lake Louie, Spirits of Norway Vineyards, Lewis Station Winery, and Black Husky.

Experience

Resources

Adequate minimum liquid assets of $300,000-$325,000 to create, build, and open your own Three Cellars from 4500-6000 square feet. This number can fluctuate, but does include working capital that allows you to hit the ground running.

Three Cellars makes owning your own business easier by giving you access to our successful model, but also gives you a partner you can count on when navigating the opening and running of a small business. As a franchisee, you get to take advantage of this head start by using all the Three Cellars concepts, policies, and procedures which are designed to not only make your Three Cellars the talk of the town, but allow you to enjoy the benefits of owning your own business. You will have at your disposal the founder, franchisee owner, and our staff of trainers who will guide you through the process of opening your Three Cellars. We will assist with site selection, construction, licensing, internet presence, training, marketing, and (of course) constant support.

Over 11 years, Three Cellars has created, refined, and mastered the startup process. As a franchisee, you get to take advantage of this and eliminate five to seven years off a traditional small business startup. The founder, other franchisee owners, executive staff, along with our staff of trainers, will be with you every step of the way as you open your very own Three Cellars. Three Cellars will not only assist with site selection, construction, licensing, and every other aspect of the building process, but will give you and your staff the training and knowledge necessary to make your Three Cellars as successful as it can be.
